Yes we were jealous of the local trucks paintings!
Yes we found our Chetak painting a bit faded!
Yes we came to India to do what seems pretty complicated in Europe!
And yes we had nothing to lose on this scooter!

So we asked a local “artist”, Dilip, who is usually drawing roosters on alive chickens shops to take care of the painting of our beloved Chetak. As for the bamboo bed, we were expecting anything but we have to admit that he overdo all our expectations!
Of course, we gave him some directions and logos to do as you may discover it, but for the rest he did it very well!

We’re now very proud to ride the streets of Bangalore! Good thing also is that we’re now more visible on the road and I drive more cautiously just to preserve the painting. Concerning the “No Horn Please” efficiency, it’s yet to prove it’s working…

    Super !!! vous allez en faire des jaloux !!! et en aparté, bravo pour la créativité de votre petit logo…. notre petit coq gaulois sur le dos du pachiderme… OK pour la différence de la masse corporelle tant que notre petit coq reste bien en place…. le jour où il se fera écraser…… on ira tous vous rejoindre en Inde..

    Une fois j’ai vue un Jeep à Silk Board ! C’etait en Jeune :) le numero de RTO me semblait du Rajasthan.

    Mais parfois ca me plait bcp car en Inde les gens aiment ses voiture comme ses copines. Voir les camion ou le bus Rolls Royce en rose et jeune sur le rue de Bangalore.!

    C’est bizzare.. mais c’est l’Inde :)
